The history of Tyrrell is synonymous with Hunter Valley wines

Contemporary wine styles for modern palates from noble Hunter Valley estates. Lower in alcohol so you can drink more of it, and why not? Spice and lychee with classy mineral feel and plenty of traminer zip all around. Very nice indeed with goat cheese & basil pizza.

A noble rot Eiswein grown to the inhospitable climes of the Niagara Peninsula

A bet each way on this one and it's effervescent sibling is a win-win. Can't get enough, a pleasure to drink, truly an outstanding, complex, rancio and tangelo driven, luscious wine.

McWilliam’s Hanwood Estate is one of the nation’s most dependable labels

Characters of herb, green beans and asparagus, a superb depth of character. There's a hint of roman nougat and lemon curd, suggestions of mineral, refreshing to the palate.

From those wonderful folks who brought us Morambro Creek

Scents of cherry, currant and cassis with a wave of floral, violet and cigar. The charming characters follow through onto the palate, joined by further expressions of black and blueberry, set against the supple oak, supported by fine, sympathetic tannins. A fresh Cabernet wine with good vigour, it's youthful and ripe and perfectly pitched. Excellent at anytime, enjoy with your next dinner, a monster drink with meatballs and pasta.

A single vineyard wine from Sauvignon Blanc grown to the Amadio family property at Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills

Another groovy expression of the Adealide Hills, lively citrus, green vegetable and mineral textured wine with slick fruit and marvelous integration. Remarkable length of flavour, excitement all the way to the finish. A must with fried whiting or garlic prawns.

She tears down the darkened street

Off dry, showing the requisite tropical, kiwi and lemongrass, but with a grown up feel and pungent fresh herb characters that linger.

A cool climate Cabernet wine with impeccable integration and exceptional balance

Sweetly scented with alluring violet, creme de cassis and fig newton characters over some nice pencil/ cinammon oak. The deluxe, plush lined palate is both fruit driven and savoury. Its impressive blueberry, pastille and blood sausage coterie is accompanied by strident but attentive tannins and polished but inseparable oak.

Since the 1970s Rosemount has been one of Australia's leading estates

Class drop, this wine - don't be fooled by the price. Had it with more premium sem/sauvs and this one came up so good, it stole the show. It's a rather accessible blend but the rich nectarine and melon of chardonnay with drying, slate hay of semillon make this a piece of serious work.
